Teaching and mentoring is my passion. My ultimate career goal is to become a Professor at an institution that actively seeks to make STEM fields more inclusive by recruiting and retaining diverse populations at the student, staff, and faculty levels. I plan to establish a lab and classroom environment that is welcoming of diversity and that exposes students to the vast possibilities that STEM career fields have to offer.
